Alan R. Jones has over 44 years of investment banking experience in taxable fixed income, capital markets and alternative investments. He founded AR Jones LLC, a business strategy consultancy, in 2004.  He is a FINRA licensed General Securities Principal and a member of the Capital Markets Group at Blaylock Van, LLC. During the first 18 years, he worked with the sales and trading divisions of Salomon Brothers and Morgan Stanley in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. He then co-founded Rampant Venture Group, a venture capital company which specialized in advising and investing in early stage companies. He later held senior capital market positions at Utendahl Capital Partners and Aladdin Capital. 

 

Mr. Jones has served on several company Boards of Directors including Eastern Light Capital, a Mortgage REIT formally traded on the AMEX. He is currently an Advisor to PurFi Global LLC, a privately held textile rejuvenating company that transforms undervalued waste into high-quality virgin products, and Pan Pacific Resource Investments, Ltd. , a private equity style, specialist natural resource investment company with a multiple investment strategy and unique shareholder returns and dividend policies. He has also served on numerous non-profit Boards.

 

Mr. Jones is a graduate and former Trustee of the Phillips Exeter Academy. He earned his BA from Dartmouth College and MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
